Rundgang Vases

Each year, the Berlin University of the Arts selects a graphic designer to create the visual identity for its Open Days (“Rundgang”). In 2022, I was invited by the UdK Shop team to develop a series of vases in dialogue with the work of Markus Bücken, a student from the Graphic Design class selected through an internal process.

The black silhouettes on the vases depict aerial views of two UdK buildings, suggesting a plan-like perspective. In contrast, the neon yellow lines trace the movements of visitors during the Rundgang, mapping paths and encounters across the space.

Together, these elements translate the event into a spatial and graphic composition, where architecture and movement are embedded into the surface of the objects.

The vases are still available through the UdK Shop
